第８回 日加協会ラウンド・テーブル

「楽しい地域コミュニティのボランティア活動と国際交流・SEGO Initiativesについて」

ビーチクリーニング活動に始まり藤沢や今治などで「里海」「里山」をテーマに地域活動に積極的に取り組んでいるアラナ・ボンジ氏（SEGO Initiative創設者、代表 兼 共同ディレクター。カナダ、およびフランス、トリニダード・トバコ国籍）が地域コミュニテイのボランティア活動についてお話しくださいました。　以下は当日の講演内容のご報告です。

今回の会場はカナダ大使館のご厚意により在日カナダ大使館 4階にて、6月25日（水）12時ー13時30分　開催いたしました。

アラナ・ボンジ氏　Ms. Alana Bonzi

Title: Enjoyable Community Volunteering and International Exchange

Beginning with beach-cleaning initiatives, Ms. Alana Bonzi—founder, representative, and co-director of the SEGO Initiative, holding Canadian, French, and Trinidad Tobago nationalities—has been actively engaged in community-based activities centered on the themes of "satoumi" (coastal areas in harmony with human activity) and "satoyama" (managed woodlands close to human settlements) in regions such as Fujisawa and Imabari. She will speak about the importance and impact of volunteerism within local communities.

The event was held at the Embassy of Canada on June 25th Wednesday 12:00 – 13:30.

SEGO INITIATIVES について

SEGOイニシアティブは、藤沢市を拠点とする非営利の一般社団法人です。2009年に開始した藤沢ビーチクリーンプロジェクトを母体として、2014年に設立されました。ブロジェク卜は、ポランティア活動、市民教育（市民科学と芸術）、そしてClean SEA（セーリングを通じた海洋環境との繋がり）という3つの柱に発展しました。SEGOイニシアティブは家族連れでも楽しめる、草の根レベルでの、心と自然を繋ぐ、没入型の体験を創出しています。

About SEGO INITIATIVES

Not-for-profit general incorporated association based in Fujisawa.

SEGO Initiative is a not-for-profit general incorporated association based in Fujisawa. It was founded in 2014 and grew out of the Fujisawa Beach Cleaning Project that started in 2009. The Project has developed into three key pillars: volunteering, public education (citizen science and art), and Clean S. E. A. (reconnecting with the marine environment via sailing). SEGO Initiative creates family-friendly, grassroots,immersive experiences that connect minds, hearts, and nature.
