2026年日加協会新年会 / 2026 Canada-Japan Society New Year's Party
この度、日加協会名誉総裁 守谷絢子殿ご夫妻、並びに名誉会長イアン・マッケイ在日カナダ大使ご夫妻の御臨席を賜りまして、2026年1月29日（木）18時より 東京倶楽部 宴会場にて、日加協会新年会を開催致しました。
石川会長の開会挨拶、名誉総裁守屋絢子様の新年のご挨拶に続き、イアン・マッケイ大使により乾杯の音頭をとっていただき、カナダ産スパークリングワインの乾杯で新年会を開始しました。晩餐は着席にてフルコースのお料理をお召し上がりいただきました。東京倶楽部のご厚意により、各コースの料理はカナダ産の食材による蟹の前菜、カナダ産鱈の網焼き、豚フィレ肉ステーキ等をいただきました。
最後に、カナダ産のワインやブルーベリージュースやカナダ産のお土産品などカナダ関連賞品が沢山当たる恒例の福引大会を行いました。 新年会は大変和やかな雰囲気の中、守屋絢子様ご夫妻をお送りした後、新年会はお開きとなりました。
With the gracious presence of Mrs. Ayako Moriya, Honorary Patron of the Japan–Canada Society, and her husband, as well as His Excellency Ian McKay, Ambassador of Canada to Japan, together with his wife, the Japan–Canada Society held its New Year Reception on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Tokyo Club Banquet Hall.
The evening opened with welcoming remarks by Chairman Ishikawa, followed by New Year greetings from Mrs. Ayako Moria, and Ambassador McKay then proposed the toast, and the reception commenced with a celebratory toast featuring Canadian sparkling wine.
Guests enjoyed a full-course seated dinner. Through the generous cooperation of the Tokyo Club, each course highlighted Canadian ingredients, including a crab appetizer, grilled Canadian cod, and pork fillet steak, among other selections.
The program concluded with the Society’s traditional New Year raffle, featuring a wide array of Canada-related prizes, including Canadian wines, PEI blueberry juice, and assorted Canadian gifts. The reception came to the close in a warm and convivial atmosphere, following the departure of Mrs. Ayako Moria and her husband.
